Arabic Declensions = علامات الإعراب

1- Declensions are special makers at the end of words, indicating the grammatical function of the word.

2- The three main noun (and adjective) declensions in Arabic are:

3- Nominative مرفوع, Accusative منصوب and Genitive مجرور.

4- A declension can be a short vowel, a nuunated short vowel, or a longer suffix, containing consonants and vowels.

5- When the declension is a short vowel and the noun or adjective is indefinite, the declension is nuunated.
